The History of EastEuroCo Executive Search Group
EastEuroCo Executive Search Group (EastEuroCo) was established in 1991 by Hungarian professionals in order to supply human resources to international companies. By the mid 1990s, EastEuroCo's activity had expanded to include countries in the surrounding region; and the company has since become one of the leading "headhunting" firms within the management-consulting arena in Central Europe.
EastEuroCo is an established, dynamic organisation whose consultants possess a proven record of proficiency and experience, a conservative professionalism combined with an innovative enthusiasm, and a keen ability to look at the 'big picture' while also using their knowledge of the local characteristics to successfully and effectively fulfil Clients' job requirements. Due to our Clients' needs, EastEuroCo also offers additional services other than executive search activity. On request, EastEuroCo can provide a whole range of HR-services.
In the last sixteen years, a New Map of Europe been drawn up and several strategic markets have been engaged and added to the global marketplace. Many market leaders within these new markets have gone through the initial company start-up phase, and are now reaping the rewards of profitability. However, at the same time, many firms are still struggling with the various potential problems associated with start-up; or they are dealing with the challenges of restructuring, downsizing or cutting operations. The quality of the management is the key factor in these differences.
In 1998
EastEuroCo's headquarters moved to the
Olof Palme House, a venue that was built in the late 19th century to function as an arts and cultural centre in City Park, the heart of Budapest. Apart from the splendid location,
EastEuroCo's choice was motivated by a firm intention to become an active supporter of cultural development and growth in Hungary and in the region.
